Pray with us as year two launches

We are just one week away from the start of Rooted’s second year! It has been a bit of a roller coaster with prospective students this summer, and even now two are still finalizing their plans. At this point, we anticipate 6-7 students joining us.

One of the most encouraging developments is how many of them learned about Rooted simply by word of mouth - even through “a friend of a friend of a friend.” After only one year, it’s exciting to see the word spreading in such organic ways.

What’s Been Happening

This past month, we’ve been working on some deeper areas of campus that we weren’t able to address last year. While we are blessed with a beautiful setting, it feels good to give it the care it needs - because the environment plays a real role in fostering meaningful community.

We are also excited to welcome new teachers and topics this year. A beautiful byproduct of Rooted has been seeing more and more people step forward, ready to share their gifts, experiences, and areas of passion with our students.

Our Current Focus

Rooted officially begins on Saturday, September 6th. During the first week, we’ll head up to the Adirondack Mountains to build relationships and establish spiritual rhythms that will guide us through the year. In week two, Pastor Bruce Hillman will be teaching on the meta-narrative of Scripture - God’s big, overarching story.

Pray with us

  • Pray for each of the students moving in on September 6th, including those still finalizing plans.

  • Pray for God’s protection and blessing throughout the year.

  • Pray that God goes before us in every opportunity to learn from and minister to others.

  • Please also continue to pray for last year’s graduates - that they remain rooted in Christ as they step into new seasons of life and ministry.
