Mid-Summer Momentum
Although this is technically the “off season” for Rooted, it certainly doesn’t feel like it! God has been opening doors for meaningful conversations, exciting opportunities to share about the program, and behind-the-scenes preparations that are setting the stage for another powerful year of ministry.
Word of Mouth—and Word of God
In recent weeks, I’ve had the chance to speak at a variety of events about Rooted. Each conversation reminds me how much this program is needed—and how much God is already at work. We’ve connected with students interested in joining us this fall, and even more who are thinking ahead to next year.
One of our newest applicants was accepted just last week—and how he found us is a perfect example of what makes Rooted special. His mom had a friend, who had a friend, whose daughter came to Rooted last year. That’s three degrees of separation—and still, the story and impact of Rooted reached him. That’s the power of community, testimony, and prayer.
Current Focus
Right now, I’m spending the week at Tuscarora for Teen Week, where I’m sharing about Rooted with campers and counselors. It’s a joy to watch students light up when they hear that there’s a place designed specifically for young adults to grow, serve, and be discipled.
Once Teen Week wraps up, I’ll turn my focus to completing a few important campus projects so our space is ready for the year ahead. We’re committed to making our environment not only functional but beautiful—a place where students feel at home and can focus on what matters most.
How you can pray
We’re so thankful for your faithful prayers. Here are a few ways you can lift Rooted up this month:
Pray for the six students who have already committed to join us this year. Pray for God’s protection, provision, and preparation as they step into something spiritually significant—something the enemy would love to disrupt.
Pray for the students still considering, and those we haven’t even met yet. We’re especially praying for a few more young women to join the team.
Pray for our alumni, that they would continue to be rooted in Christ as they walk into new seasons and opportunities.
You can Help
